![]() To be honest, I'm not really sure how that works, or what that means. The PASoft hardware device uses what's known as an FTDI chip. How do you make the two talk to each other? Drivers. Think of it like this: you have a copy of Photoshop (the BMW Scanner software), and you have a Wacom graphics tablet (your PASoft/xcar360 hardware device). If those folders do exist, you likely need to install the FTDI drivers directly on your computer. If those folders don't exist, I would be happy to PM a link to a download for those folders. ![]() That folder should contain a "BMWScan140.exe" file, and another folder labeled "Drivers". So you have downloaded and installed PASoft, yes? On the root level of your hard drive (the "C" drive), there should be a folder labeled "BMWScan140".
